专利说明:

The invention relates to a golf training device.
It applies in particular to devices arranged to simulate a golf hole to allow a player to practice putting on any type of field, in particular indoors, these devices comprising for this purpose an annular support in which a golf hole is formed.
Are known, for example from document GB-1914/22584, devices whose annular support is equipped with a plurality of members distributed angularly, each having an external ramp and an internal ramp, said members being arranged to allow a ball rolling at an adequate speed to enter the hole formed by the annular support, as would such a ball in a conventional golf hole.
To do this, the ramps are arranged to have a stable state, in which the external ramp is arranged in a plane of access to the hole, in particular by being placed in abutment against the ground, the internal ramp being arranged projecting around the hole. , and a state constrained by the passage of the ball over the external ramp, in which the internal ramp is lowered inside said hole to guide the ball through said hole.
Such devices are not entirely satisfactory, in that their support on the ground is provided mainly by the external ramps of the members, while the support on the ground of said external ramps is modified when said members are in a constrained state. Thus, when the ball passes over the device, several adjacent members pass into a constrained state simultaneously, which tends to unbalance the base of the device.
The invention aims to perfect the prior art by proposing in particular a golf training device which has satisfactory ground stability, and this by simulating as best as possible the behavior of a golf hole.
To this end, the invention provides a golf training device comprising an annular support in which a hole for a golf ball is formed, said support being equipped with a plurality of members distributed angularly, each having an external ramp. and an internal ramp, said ramps being arranged to present a stable state in which the external ramp is arranged in a hole access plane and the internal ramp is arranged projecting around the hole, and a state constrained by the passage of the ball on the member in which the internal ramp is lowered inside said hole, the annular support being equipped with a plurality of feet which are angularly distributed between the members, each of said feet having a lower wall for bearing on the ground and an upper wall forming an access ramp to the hole.
Other features and advantages of the invention will appear in the following description, made with reference to the appended figures, in which:
- Figure 1 is a perspective representation of a golf training device according to the invention;
- Figures 2a and 2b are representations of the annular support of the device of Figure 1, respectively in top view (Figure 2a) and in bottom view (Figure 2b);
- Figures 3a and 3b are representations of an organ of the device of Figure 1, respectively in perspective (Figure 3a) and in side view (Figure 3b);
- Figure 4 is a perspective representation of the external ramp of the member of Figures 3a and 3b.
In connection with these figures, a golf training device is described below.
The device is arranged to simulate a golf hole to allow a player to practice putting, and this on any type of terrain, especially indoors. To do this, the device comprises an annular support 1 in which a hole 2 for a golf ball is formed.
The support 1 is equipped with a plurality of members 3 angularly distributed, each having an external ramp 4 and an internal ramp 5, said ramps being arranged to present a stable state, in which the external ramp 4 is arranged in a plane d access to the hole 2, in particular by being placed in abutment against the ground, and the internal ramp 5 is arranged projecting around the said hole, as well as a constrained state, in which the internal ramp 5 is lowered inside the said hole to guide the ball into said hole.
In the description, the terms “internal” and “external” define a positioning in space relative to the hole 2. Thus, the term “internal” designates a position close to the hole 2 and the term “external >> a position remote from said hole.
In relation in particular to FIG. 3b, the members 3 have a leave 6 for connection between the internal 4 and external 5 ramps, said ramps forming between them an angle a of between 90 ° and 180 °, in particular between 110 ° and 150 °.
The internal ramp 5 has a length and an angle adapted to allow the entry into the hole 2 of a ball rolling at an adequate speed, but also the passage above it of a ball rolling too fast, in order to allow said device to best simulate a conventional golf hole. In particular, internal ramps 5 that are too short and / or too flattened would not be suitable for simulating the entry into hole 2 of a ball rolling at an adequate speed. Similarly, a ball rolling too fast could come up against internal ramps 5 that are too long and / or too raised, and thus remain blocked in hole 2.
In the embodiment shown, the members 3 are pivotally mounted on the support 1 between their stable and constrained states. To do this, as shown in FIG. 3b, the members 3 have a zone 7 of junction between the external 4 and internal 5 ramps, in particular formed under the connection leave 6, said zone being equipped with a structure 8 for mounting in rotation on the support 1.
More specifically, the mounting structure 8 has an upper housing 9 in which an axis 10 formed on the annular support 1 is intended to be mounted in rotation, as well as a lower opening 11 opening into said housing and arranged to allow mounting by latching of axis 10 in said housing.
In particular, the mounting structure 8 is arranged to allow the reversible mounting of the member 3 on the support 1, in order to allow the possible replacement of said member, in particular in the event of breakage and / or wear. To do this, the shape and / or dimensions of the snap-in opening 11 can be adapted to allow the removal of the pin 10 from the housing 9.
Advantageously, the internal ramp 5 is made of a material different from the external ramp 4, in particular of a material having greater flexibility than that of said external ramp, in order to allow the ball to be damped during its passage over said internal ramp.
To do this, the members 3 are formed by a tab 12 on which the external ramp 4 is formed, said tab being equipped with an insert 13 on which the internal ramp 5 extends.
The internal ramp 5 may in particular be produced by overmolding on the insert 13, in order to facilitate the manufacture of the member 3. In particular, as shown in FIG. 4, the insert 13 has holes 14 for anchoring in which the material forming the internal ramp 5 is intended to flow during the overmolding of said internal ramp to ensure its attachment to the external ramp 4.
In addition, the mounting structure 8 came integrally with the tab 12, in particular by being formed in the lower part of the insert 13, in order to have sufficient rigidity to ensure the solidity of the mounting of the member 3 on the support. 1.
Advantageously, the member 3 as a whole is produced according to a mass distribution which is arranged to place the center of gravity of said member at a precise point of the mounting structure 8, in particular at the level of the housing 9 for receiving the 'axis 10 of rotation, to ensure the stable state of said member.
In relation to FIG. 1, the internal ramps 5 have an external wall 5a on which a ball is intended to roll, as well as an internal wall 5b on which two stiffening ribs 15 are formed.
The annular support 1 is equipped with a plurality of feet 16 which are angularly distributed between the members 3, each of said feet having a lower wall 16a for supporting the ground and an upper wall 16b forming an access ramp to the hole 2.
Thus, the feet 16 make it possible to compensate for the lack of support from the external ramps 4 of the members 3 in a constrained state, and therefore to ensure the stability on the ground of the device even when a ball passes over it. In addition, thanks to their access ramp 16b, the feet 16 can contribute to guiding the ball in the hole
2.
Advantageously, the access ramps 16b form with the external ramps 4 in a stable position a substantially continuous annular surface, which makes it possible to facilitate the passage of a ball over said external ramps.
To do this, the feet 16 are integrated into the support 1, forming between them housings 17 in which at least one member 3 is mounted, said housings having dimensions adapted to allow reception of said member with angular clearances of minimum dimensions between the ramps 16b, 4 adjacent. In the embodiment shown, the housings 17 each have dimensions suitable for receiving the external ramp 4 of a member 3.
Advantageously, a device can be provided with a large number of members 3, in order to improve the uniformity of the behavior of said device over its entire circumference. Thus, the embodiment shown provides for twelve members 3.
In particular, the support 1 has bridges 18 connecting two adjacent feet 16, each bridge 18 having an axis 10 on which the mounting structure 8 of a member 3 is mounted.
Advantageously, the annular support 1 is made in one piece, in particular by molding a plastic material, which makes it easier to manufacture. In relation to FIGS. 2a and 2b, the support 1 has an external annular structure 19 connecting the feet 16, as well as an internal annular structure 20 on which the bridges 18 for mounting the members 3 are formed.
The internal ramps 5 have lateral extensions 21 which are arranged to overlap at least part of the adjacent access ramp 16b. Thus, each access ramp 16b leads to two internal ramps 5, which improves the continuity of the annular surfaces for the passage of a ball.
Furthermore, the dimensions of the lateral extensions 21 are arranged to allow the internal ramps 5 in stable condition to form a substantially continuous annular surface, and thus to facilitate guiding a ball in the hole 2 while improving the aesthetic appearance of the device.
To do this, the tab 12 has a substantially T-shaped shape, the trunk 12a of which forms the external ramp and on the upper branches 12b from which the insert 13 extends, the lateral extensions 21 each being molded on an upper branch 12b respectively. . In addition, the branches 12b opposite two adjacent legs 12 each extend by overlapping respectively by half of the internal end of the intermediate access ramp 16b.
In addition, each leg 16 comprises an extension 22 formed on its internal end, and on which the lateral extensions 21 and / or the adjacent branches 12b are intended to come into abutment during the passage of the corresponding members 3 in a constrained state, in order to limit the tilting of said members 5 and assisting their return to a stable state.
